Zip a File

Zips a file or directory.

To create this step select Zip a File from the list and then enter in a name for the step.

You then need to enter the path to the file or folder to be zipped into the From Filename field. This supports wildcards, so you can select all files within a folder by using * or *.* at the end of the path.

Then enter in the path with the name of the zipped folder to be created. You can use user settings to add extra details such as the created date.

Then choose if subfolders should be included, if files with the same name should be overwritten, and if a check should be done to ensure the file/folder does not already exist.
